Victoria Island Aboriginal Development Project - Ottawa, Ontario

This is a 137,000 sq. ft. multiuse building comprising of exhibition areas, educational facilities, restaurant, council chambers and other areas for public gatherings. For this project, we are providing complete mechanical and electrical design services. The building is aimed at achieving LEED Silver Certification.

The building will have a heat pump system that uses river water for cooling and heating, waste heat recovery, rain harvesting system, CO2 control of fresh air, photocell controlled lightning, building automation system, wind power, etc. The facility will make extensive use of natural ventilation and daylighting.
